Jayant Deshmukh, Author, AI Consultant, and Digital Transformation Strategist, held a meaningful and forward-looking meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant, to discuss the future of education, skilling and technology-led reforms in the state.

With the 𝒁𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 underway, the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s schedule remains extremely demanding. Despite this, Shri Pramod Sawant took time to engage in an in-depth discussion, underlining the importance the Government of Goa places on AI, education and long-term human capital development.

The discussions focused on the 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. A key highlight was the state’s strong emphasis on 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑼𝒑𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, identified as essential pillars for preparing students and the workforce for future demands. Goa has also made significant progress by establishing robotic labs across educational institutions, positioning the state as a leader in progressive and experiential educational reforms.

Over the past few years, Goa has witnessed 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening the education ecosystem.

During the meeting, Mr. Deshmukh presented his vision for AI-enabled education and capacity building in Goa, aimed at creating scalable, sustainable, and inclusive learning models. The Government of Goa expressed keen interest in taking these initiatives forward.

On the occasion, Mr. Deshmukh also presented an idol of Bhagvan Shri Ram, brought from Ayodhya, along with his authored books “𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠” and “𝐀𝐈 शिकूया मराठीतून”, symbolizing the blend of cultural heritage and technological advancement.

Reflecting on the engagement, Mr. Deshmukh stated, “Overall, it was a meaningful engagement that reinforced our shared vision for Goa’s future.”

The meeting marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration between domain experts and the Government of Goa to accelerate AI-driven educational transformation and future-ready skilling initiatives in the state.
